Narayanan Nair Memorial Higher Secondary School (NNMHSS) is a renowned educational institution nestled at the heart of Chelembra, a leading educational hub in Kerala. Opened in 1976, NNMHSS was the result of the efforts of Mr. K. V. Sankaranarayanan, lovingly called Maanuettan, and his vision to bring quality education accessible to all.

K. V. Sankaranarayan, who was fondly known as Manuettan, was a visionary educationist and social worker from Chelembra. NNMHSS was started by him at the age of 26, and he established numerous institutions, which educated thousands of unempowered people. His dedication to social upliftment, leadership, and service to the community made a legacy of inspiration and furtherance.
